david

seniors — tiffany at 9:08 am on Thursday, June 21, 2007

What a nice guy! We enjoyed shooting David’s senior images. And, once again we were amazed at what a beautiful town Zionsville can be. David is a huge Diamondbacks fan, as well as a good musician. He has a quiet side to him but portrays deep intelligence. He was a bit unsure of the camera at first but by the end of the shoot was doing great. I loved how at one particular point he said, “I better start smiling more…my mom will want pictures of me smiling!” What a good boy! His mom will be proud and hopefully will love how these images captured his personality at this point in his young life.

Heather and Andy met at a red light (honestly) and never turned back! Heather may be one of the sweetest brides we have ever met…totally sincere. And, despite their age difference, they are a fantastic couple that we have really enjoyed getting to know. They crack us up with some of their stories. They love to travel…in fact, they had a very romantic proposal in Venice, Italy. Then they took an early honeymoon to Maui in April. They love spending time with family, especially Andy’s three children…Ashley, Blake and Brooke.

They had an awesome wedding at Bridegwater Country Club where both the ceremony and reception were held. The weather was perfect! One of the most special moments of the day was when the groom’s best friend wrote a song and played it on the piano at the reception. And…one of our favorite bands in Indianapolis…the Impalas…rocked the house.

organic creamery

If you live in the Indianapolis-area and have never been to Traders Point Creamery, you are missing a gem! You must plan a visit to this amazing location that is just outside the city limits. They recently opened a small cafe where you can enjoy some of their organically made ice creams, yogurts, cheeses, etc. You can even sit outside on a balcony overlooking the property. Perfect for a Sunday drive.

Traders Point Creamery is a quaint, family owned dairy located in Zionsville, Indiana. They specialize in the Brown Swiss cow which spend all of their time on their vast pastures. They do not use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides on their land and the cows never receive antibiotics or hormones.

Nate recently took some images of their new packaging for their new web site. It is always a special treat to make a visit there. If you’ll remember…it was also one of the locations for our Sexy Shoot several weeks ago. Thanks to Harry for asking us to do this. Enjoy!tpcblog-0020.jpgtpcblog-0010.jpgtpcblog-0016.jpgtpcblog-0027.jpgtpcblog-0023.jpgtpcblog-0014.jpgtpcblog-0007.jpgtpcblog-0004.jpgtpcblog-0015.jpgtpcblog-0031.jpgtpcblog-0029.jpg

janelle and zack

What to say, what to say…Janelle is dear to my heart as she is the daughter of a good friend. And, she watched the boys last summer while I was waddling around pregnant with twins. She was invaluable…truly!

Janelle and Zack are an incredible couple…absolutely and positively in love. I love the way they look at each other. They may be one of our youngest couples but somehow they are kind of like an old couple that has been together for years. There is a deep maturity to their relationship.

This wedding was a total blast and included THE BEST first dance we have ever witnessed followed by THE BEST wedding party dance we have ever witnessed. They started out with a nice waltz when all of a sudden the tables turned and some funk was coming out. Zack, known for his dance moves, busted his toosh around the dance floor as Janelle cheered him on. Then the wedding party took the floor to a coordinated dance that included leap frogging. It was hysterical but got everyone, including the 15 young boys on the floor for what seemed like a mosh pit!

Both the ceremony and reception were held at the Ritz Charles on a perfect late-Spring day. We also loved the simplicity of the floral arrangements from Kathy’s Kloset.

Arlene and Jeremy were planning to wed on July 1st. However, they have decided to reschedule their wedding date for later in the year. night engagement

Cool Stuff — tiffany at 12:24 pm on Monday, June 4, 2007

We are looking for a couple that is willing to take an adventure! We would like to do an engagement shoot at night. We want to play around with some neat locations and dramatic lighting. Let us know if you are interested. We don’t necessarily have to be shooting your wedding either.
