couldn’t resist

Cool Stuff — tiffany at 9:49 pm on Thursday, August 30, 2007

Nate and I were shooting a wedding together several weeks ago on a particularly HOT day. The bride and groom had galloped away on a private carriage ride, the guests had sought cooler temperatures indoors, and we were left waiting for the newlyweds to return.

So…in order to pass the time and ignore the heat…we started photographing each other. I couldn’t resist posting these images. I am laughing so hard! It is like PHOTOGRAPHER GONE WILD. The first one is cute, the second cheezy, and the last two downright hilarious.

I remember a very short time ago when my little brother had no chest hair.

Enjoy! Tiffany

Jeni is one of my closest friends. We grew up together. I vividly remember meeting her with a broken arm at the snack bar at the Hinsdale Public Swimming Pool. She was adorable and sweet. Nothing has changed…except that she soon will be expecting her first child.

Jeni and Nate have a long history as well. They were roommates (nothing romantic in the least) for years until she met her husband, Joe, and Nate moved to Indy. We had a great visit with them this past weekend but nearly had to pull their toenails out in order to have them pose for just a few maternity images. I think they will be glad that they did.

Enjoy!

Sweet couple…strong in their faith, with a long history together. Their families have been significantly intertwined since they began dating at Heritage Christian School. While they are accustomed to sticking close to home, they had a romantic engagement in Paris.

We have had the pleasure of getting to know Jamie especially well over the past year. She is so gentle and careful about every detail of the wedding. As soon as they returned from their honeymoon they relocated to Chicago. We hope to see them on many return visits.

Jamie and Matt had a beautiful ceremony at the Centennial Bible Church in Westfield with a reception following at the Omni. We made a few stops along the way including the Circle, their favorite snow cone stand in Broad Ripple, and then her parent’s home.

We always enjoy working with Carrie from the Omni as she makes the desire of each bride happen. Their reception was full of wonderful toasts and a special tribute to Jamie’s grandfather as he was celebrating his birthday. Nate worked alongside Cybil and Brandon from B&C Digital Media and as always had a great time.

We wish you the very best!!

Enjoy!

Great couple…great wedding!

I had been in communication so much with both Bes and Dan during their planning that I felt like I knew them the day of the wedding…I just had to hug them. Nate had the awesome opportunity of traveling to Florida, where Bes and Dan reside, for a fabulous photo shoot several months ago. From the shoot, we created a Guest Book which was used at their wedding.

Particularly convenient for all of their friends and family, Bes and Dan decided to have both their ceremony and reception at the historic Columbia Club. It is a beautiful landmark along the Circle in Indianapolis. And, after the ceremony they took a private carriage ride around the city.

Bes and Dan were great to work with, as was their friends and family…her sister is a hoot! We hope to keep in close contact with them, especially after they move back to Indianapolis within a few years.

Congratulations!!

Enjoy!

Great family! We had not met them prior to their portrait shoot but they were really enjoyable. Their son will soon be departing for a year so they wanted to have portraits taken of the family. Lindsey heard about us from a recent bride…maybe we can shoot her wedding too someday (hint:)).

Enjoy!
