We have had a great time shooting several seniors this year…Cortney did not disappoint us. She has a quiet, yet goofy humor to her. I had heard she was a gifted hockey player (Canadian-born…go figure) so we had to include some of the equipment in the shoot.

Nate wasn’t so sure of the arrow shot I suggested (at the very end) but I like it! I am glad Nate didn’t plummet to his death as someone walked out the door on this staircase…check out the position he got in.

Rebecca and Brent are planning a fall wedding at Christ Temple with a reception following at the Omni. Nate cruised around Mass Ave with this pair, and afterwards told me how excited he was to work with such a beautiful couple.  I love Rebecca’s polka dots.

Jamie and Tim have been so much fun to work with throughout their wedding planning process beginning with a fun engagement shoot in Chicago. However, we have to mention only after a fabulous proposal in Paris…wish we could have been there for that. In fact, it was a perfect proposal for Jamie because she is a French teacher. Then, Jamie was a knockout in our Sexy Shoot. We hope to keep in close contact with these two when they come back to Indy for visits.

Jamie and Tim began their wedding day at the her mother’s property in Zionsville. Nancy is the owner of Hunt Club Labradors and Boarding Kennel…a breathtaking setting for images. The barn served as a perfect backdrop!

They were then married at the Advent Lutheran Church which included the incredible sounds of a bag pipe during the recessional. I cannot resist being moved by the sound of bag pipes. A beautiful reception followed at the Indiana State Museum.Throughout the day, we worked along side a great videography team from B&C Media. Nate and Brandon seem to have the same sense of humor so a lot of fun was had. The day was perfectly planned by mother-daughter, wedding planning team, Pat and Katie Slama of KAS Events. We were glad for the opportunity to work with this duo for the first time.

I was fiddling around tonight and decided to design a sample Senior Album (much like we do for all of our wedding clients). I just wanted to offer our Seniors more than loose prints. I thought it would be fun to have the album signed (like our Guest Book Albums) or just as a collection of favorite images. We would have these images printed and bound much like wedding albums except the cover options could be much more eclectic. Enjoy!

It was the first time meeting Jordan. According to his mother he was very reluctant to even get his senior pictures taken. However, we got a fairly good report back from her after the session. She said, “Jordan actually had a good time and thought Nate was cool.” What more can we ask?
