We could not be happier for Autumn and Jason. They are adorable. We have gotten to know Autumn particularly well over the past year. You may recognize her from our Sexy Shoot in the Spring. She was fabulous!

Autumn is just that…she looks like Autumn with gorgeous auburn hair and a dark complexion. She can float you some looks too…she works the camera. And for Nate, it is great not having to give a lot of direction. On top of all that, she is perfectly sweet.

As you will see from the images, Nate had a great time playing up the “7.7.07″ theme.

We wish them the best…and many more trips to the favorite spot…Dale Hollow.

We just wanted to congratulate our friend, fellow Zionsville-resident, and photographer, Chris Bucher, on the publication of his first book. It is about lighting for digital photographers. Lighting Photo Workshop covers everything from using flash to studio lights to working outdoors in bright or low-light conditions.

Chris is a great guy and we couldn’t be happier for him. The book took great effort to complete.  It is currently being sold on Amazon.

We said our final goodbyes to my husband, Tim, yesterday. Once again, Nate was there to document the departure which I couldn’t be more grateful for. Tim and his troops leave for Iraq tomorrow. To view more images and keep updated, visit Letters From Tim.

While we shoot the majority of our weddings in the Midwest, many of our clients actually live on the West Coast. We love when we get the opportunity to shoot engagement images where our brides and grooms reside…it is fun to shoot in new locations. It is also great for the couple to get pictures where their relationship often began.

So…off to San Francisco Nate flew for a day with Alexia and Brian whom are planning a traditional Greek Orthodox wedding in September. Apparently, there is a tradition of the bride having images taken of her in her gown prior to the wedding. We hadn’t shot a bridal session in a few years. Nate spent some time alone with Alexia (after she dressed in a closet) amongst a gorgeous backdrop. I love the veil she has chosen to wear with the gown…very old-fashioned with a modern appeal.

Then, the three of them adventured around the city. Nate always loves Chinatown. Enjoy!

Heather and Jason had a relaxed wedding in Plymouth, Indiana. The wedding reception took place on 23 acres of her parent’s property which included a pond and newly-erected red barn (specifically built for the occasion). The menu perfectly suited the environment which included a hog roast, grilled corn-on-the-cob, a baked potato bar, and lots of pies! We especially loved that the men all adorned their dress whites and dress blues. Nothing like a man in uniform. Oh! LOVE the getaway car.
