head bang

Personal — tiffany at 11:46 pm on Tuesday, October 30, 2007

Nate is in luck…he doesn’t have to dress up for Halloween this year…he already looks like Frankenstein. Thankfully he had only had three stitches and isn’t shooting a wedding this weekend! After a long night of editing, he tried to kill some spiders that were making their way into his home out of the Autumn chill. Somehow he hit his head on the desk. (Note: No drinking was involved.  And that is his wife in the background laughing.)

We shot twin girls wearing Matilda Jane clothing several weeks ago and got hooked! We were especially excited when we found out the owner and designer of the clothing is from Indiana. Join us for a trunk show next week! You may get some great holiday gift ideas for yourself or a special girl.

Rebecca and Brent had a beautiful wedding with plum and gold accents. It seemed to be the wedding that kicked off the Autumn for us. The day began at Christ Temple and concluded at the Omni Severin. One of our favorite guys in the city, Jack Gambs of Antique Limousine of Indianapolis escorted them in a beautiful vintage car.

Some of my favorite images include: a catnap, a payphone (you hardly see those anymore), fedora hats, and a little peak. See if you can find them…kind of like the Waldo game.

We wish Rebecca and Brent the very best and hope to keep in close contact with them. To view their wedding album design>>> click here. Enjoy!

katie and tim

Relationships — tiffany at 8:41 am on Thursday, October 25, 2007

Katie and Tim are getting married next August and we could not be more excited. They are planning a beautiful wedding at the Indianapolis Museum of Art where this engagement session was taken. And…Katie happens to be the sister of one of our favorite brides from years ago. We hope, despite their distance from Indianapolis, that we get to know Katie and Tim well during their planning process. Enjoy!

We never had the opportunity to meet Mike prior to the wedding but we clicked with Sara immediately. She is a very decisive and expressive woman! We communicated regularly after learning we had something in common…enduring deployments to Iraq. She is a super gal with a huge heart and I can only believe that Mike is just as incredible. They are rock solid.

The details of this wedding were so well thought-out…and the theme…’A Perfect Pair’ was just that…perfect! The colors were a sage green with chocolate brown accents and pears were used throughout the day to tie the theme together.

Sara and Mike had a great time on their wedding day…and you cannot ask for much more than that. When two people are totally in love and at ease throughout the day it is so fun to photograph.

hannoy family

Ann bid on a portrait session with us last year at a charity event for the Assistance League.  We finally were able to schedule some time with this lovely, gracious family.  They had not had a family portrait done since their daughters were children.  Both girls are dancers…and you can tell by their lean, graceful frames.  Enjoy!

Nate was busy editing the multitude of weddings we have been shooting…so I ventured out with my friend, Christina, to shoot her beautiful belly.  I believe every woman should have images of themselves pregnant…especially when it the last time.  Christina gave birth to a baby girl, Zora, just three days after this shoot.  Thankfully, her husband who is currently deployed to a Medevac helicopter unit in Iraq was able to join her for the birth.    Congratulations…Tim, Christina and Savannah for your newest addition to the family!

three girls

Generations — tiffany at 1:30 pm on Thursday, October 18, 2007

Kirk and Celise have a beautiful family with three gorgeous girls.  It is sometimes hard to believe because I have known Kirk since our wild college days.  However, he and Celise are two of the kindest people.  They joined Nate for a walk around the Indianapolis Museum of Art for a long overdue family portrait session.  Enjoy!
