I love this time of year when we begin designing holiday cards for our clients.  I will post several examples over the next few days.

I had to post this baby announcement though.  I visited our cousin in Cincinnati last weekend.  We put her first born through photographic torture in hopes of getting a few images she might be able to use for baby announcements.  I am not the photographer in the family but I think I did fairly well with a point-and-shoot.

This has been a fun couple to work with. Allison and James currently reside in Denver, Colorado where they spend the majority of their time outdoors…but who can blame them! They have an equal affinity for sports…baseball, football, hockey. They laugh easily and kiss all of the time!

The wedding day went exactly as planned…Allison looked gorgeous, the itinerary was followed, the florals were breathtaking, and everyone had a great time. She chose especially adorable custom bags for her bridesmaids from 1154 LILL Studio

I loved how Tim’s mother described him. It seems perfect.

“He coaches on a fun recreational soccer team that gets goofy. He would wear a crazy coach outfit for every game last year. He is an Athletic Trainer for the school and he plays the bassoon in the band. He is very active in our church, Zionsville Presbyterian Church, and in student leadership at school as Senior Class President. He enjoys reading all sorts of books and really enjoys going to concerts.”

Nate always loves when he can photograph a couple in an alternative location for their engagement shoot…especially when it is somewhere they reside and somewhere as picturesque as San Francisco. He was also able to take some fabulous images of Alexia in her bridal gown around the city. And can you go wrong with a Monique Lhuillier gown and Kate Spade heels? Besides those key benefits, it gives Nate a chance to get to know the couple on a more personal level.

Several weeks later, Alexia and Brian were married in Ft. Wayne, Indiana for what was our first traditional Greek Orthodox wedding which included: a HUGE family, a crowning, a ceremonial walk, a coin and veil ceremony, bread serving, Greek circle dances, belly dancing, a men’s dance, etc. Lots of fun to say the least.
