Liz and John are planning a wedding on the first day of summer at Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Radisson Hotel in Indianapolis. We are looking forward to working with this couple as the plans unfold. They seem so sweet…and absolutely adorable together. They met at Purdue in an art elective theater class. Who would have thought the impact that class would make on their future? Oh…and from what we have been told…John can do quite an impersonation of Chewbaca.

Jeana and Justin are real and genuine to the bone. They are the kind of people that are funny and welcoming wrapped into a ball of warmth. They met at a charity auction at a bowling alley and it hasn’t been the same since.

Jeana and Justin surrounded themselves by the nicest people. Despite the frigid weather, their wedding party was willing to venture outside…even the kids! Several people played a special role in the wedding…Jeana’s grandfather walked her down the aisle, she and her sister shared a first dance, Jeana’s office associates helped with the planning, the groomsmen were incredibly sweet, and her cousins reminded me of Nate and me.

We were excited about this wedding because we had never shot at Saint Christopher or the Indianapolis Country Club. We had worked with Megan Dills at the Columbia Club before she moved to ICC and were thrilled to see her again! As always, it is enjoyable to see a couple rent one of Jack Gamb’s antique cars from Antique Limo of Indy.

We are so excited for WINTER TIME! Not only do we get to breathe a sigh of relief after the long wedding season and family portraits but we get to regroup and have some FUN!

A mother gave us a great idea. She told us that the first major snowfall after the New Year she wanted portraits of her family in the snow…all snuggled up in colorful scarves and hats and mittens and boots…just being a family.

We want to congratulate Jeni and Joe who welcomed Sophia Nina just weeks ago. Jeni has been one of our closest friends since we were children. After we shot a wedding in Chicago, we stopped by for an hour or so to take a peak at this beauty. Jeni is the youngest of nine children…she has this mother thing licked! She seems perfectly at ease and comfortable with her new role.

We are excited to work with Anissa and Brian next June. They are planning a unique wedding at the Schuster Center in Dayton, Ohio.  We plan to take advantage of the market/loft district for images prior to the ceremony.

They currently live in Atlanta, Georgia where it sounds like they are very active…including being the high school girl’s soccer coach, skiing, water sports, participating in triathlons, etc.  We hear that Anissa can do a mean Harry Carey impersonation as well!  Enjoy!

Tammy and Josh are planning a June 28th wedding at St. John followed by a reception at the Skyline Club.  We have never shot a reception there so we are looking forward to it.   Enjoy!

Molly and Blake are planning a spectacular wedding in Findlay, Ohio next July.  We could not be more excited to work with them…they exude energy and an abundance of love for one another.  They love IU…in fact Blake proposed to Molly underneath the Well House.  As part of the proposal he also arranged (it took some serious logistics) a carriage ride along campus which is typically reserved only for presidents of the University.

Nate met the couple in Chicago for a walk around the city for their engagement shoot.  Enjoy!
