trash the dress

Cool Stuff — tiffany at 4:18 pm on Saturday, February 9, 2008

We began and concluded our 2007 wedding season with two fabulous shoots that spurred both our creativity and excitement for our business. First the Sexy Shoot and lastly the Trash The Dress Shoot.

Trashing the Dress is not a new concept. In fact, our intention was not to destroy the gown but have complete creative freedom with a willing bride (aka model), in an awesome gown, in some off-the-beaten-path settings in which we would not typically photography a bride.

Thankfully, we were blessed with a beautiful late-Autumn day. And…we had a blast.
We would like to thank Tracy Heine of La Bella Bride and Bliss Boutique for outfitting us with a beautiful gown for the day. We imagine it was difficult to envision what we had in mind and appreciate her trust. An enormous thank you to Bob Ridge of IndyVisual for joining us for the day. The video you created is sensational. We are grateful for your talent and friendship. Larry Bacher for the use of a kickin’ car. And, finally thank you to Sara Bauer for being a great muse.

We wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day. Enjoy!

wowowow- Nate and Bob fantastic work as always!Great locations and awesome scenery…
But Nate, you are almost forcing me to challenge you to a tree climbing contest! I am so jealous, and apparently threatened, by your climbing ability!
Darn you Nate Rowe!

I think Nate was a flying squirrel in a previous life. He truly has no fear of heights or tree limbs. That shot looking straight down at Sara lying on the leaves - let’s just say that not many members of the human species could have taken that one. Thanks again, Nate & Tiff - it was fun as always working with you guys!

You guys did an excellent job and looks like you had a ton of fun! Thanks for stopping by the shop and I adore the image of Sara on the bicycle! (…also like the one of Bob in the woods - tee hee!)
