sara and paul

Sara is one of those brides that thought of and created nearly everything on her own…from the custom-made coloring books for all of the children at the wedding, to the ‘all green’ candy bar, to the confetti boxes they were sprayed with in their grand exit from the church. Their print pieces were beautiful and their florals perfect…but we’re suckers for peonies!

The wedding was nothing short of fabulous with hints of apple green and white throughout the entire event. The wedding party was one of the largest we have ever photographed with twenty-six in tow. The bridesmaids were sweet and fun. The groomsmen were charming and playful. No matter what you could tell that Sara and Paul have made quite an impact on a lot of people in their lives.

The ceremony was held at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church. Truly my favorite aspect of each wedding is the few moments the bride and her father are quietly waiting to walk down the aisle. I really believe it is a spiritual moment. I cannot help but to think how wonderful it must be for a father to be able to gaze at his daughter as a grown women. Nate is always waiting at the front of the church to capture the twosome walking arm-in-arm. I am grateful for my spot always.

The wedding party left the ceremony after an enormous grand exit in a trolley to an amazing reception at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. The catering directer, Vanessa Chavez, along with Nancy of Great Cooks brought Sara and Paul’s vision to life. One of our favorite moments was when a drum line followed the wedding party into the reception for the most incredible introduction of a bride and groom we have ever witnessed. It was entertaining, eye-grabbing and completely fresh. These kids were so talented! Anyway, Flip Miller played fabulous music for the rest of the evening while this young, fun crowd had a great time on the dance floor.

We congratulate Sara and Paul and wish them much happiness. To view their wedding album design, click here. If you are not a registered Pictage user then you may login with the following:  guest@nathanieledmunds.com, password:  guest.

peigh family

Generations — tiffany at 11:33 pm on Thursday, June 12, 2008

Some are faced with harrowing thoughts of mortality young in their lifetimes. Our dear friend, Joel, was recently given devastating news of esophageal cancer. He is a young man, with an incredible entrepreneurial spirit. He is the father of three lovable children, and the husband to a ROCK of a woman.

Joel, along with his wife, April, are facing this diagnosis with enormous courage and grace. They will soon launch a blog called www.peighitforward.com (as in Peigh It Forward) so that their friends and family can travel along this journey with them…providing encouragement and strength during the times they need it the most.

We ask that you keep Joel in your prayers as he fights the fight of his life.

lesley and greg

Marriages — tiffany at 6:59 pm on Thursday, June 12, 2008

The first time that Lesley and Greg were introduced by a mutual friend, they actually didn’t care for each other. I guess that ‘dislike’ quickly turned into something else! We really think these two are the sweetest. They both have such a gentle nature.

Lesley and Greg had a grand ceremony and reception at the Columbia Club with the help of catering director, AJ Ploughe. Their guests first started with cocktails in the French Room then proceeded to an evening ceremony in the Grand Lobby. Afterwards, everyone was seated in the Crystal Terrace for the reception.

We wish Lesley and Greg the very best as they return from the honeymoon down under in Australia!

sverige 2008

Uncategorized — nate at 3:21 am on Wednesday, June 11, 2008

Greetings from Sweden. For the first time in nine years going to Sweden, we had amazing weather. Sunny and hot at 90 degrees celsius. I photographed a beautiful wedding that I will upload within a few weeks. Right now, I now board a plane to Hawaii (yes…half way across the world) for another exciting wedding!
