If we gush about Sara and Marc it is only because we love them…they have become such good friends during their planning process. From the beginning, we just clicked and that is about all it took. Of course, once they said they were basing the color theme off of one of our favorite restaurants…Petit Chou…we were in!  We also enjoyed getting to know their families and wedding planner, Josh Gurvitz over the past few months.

To say that the team at Saks Fifth Avenue went beyond the call of duty, is an understatement. And when you catch a glimpse of this gown you will understand why Sara had to have it! She saw it in an editorial bridal spread soon after getting engaged. She took the pictures of the gown, designed by Angel Sanchez, to Saks and said this is it. Lisa and Theresa of Saks soon discovered Angel only created the gown for the spread and not for mass distribution. After a fair amount of stalking, Angel agreed to finally send the one-of-a-kind gown to Saks. The rest is history.

The day began at the Conrad. While everyone was getting beautified by the fabulous Kiralee Hubbard of EyeMax, they watched the newly released Sex and The City…and Sara’s favorite fashion icon. She even had the Manolo Blahnik’s to prove it. Josh, along with Erika from Posh Petals, created an understated yet beautiful display of orchids at the Eiteljorg where both the ceremony and reception were held.

The day couldn’t have been better. These are two people who absolutely adore each other and they are hot!
