If you are looking for the perfect baby gift, or just want a cool place to hang out for an hour during a cold day, stop by one of our favorite spots in Zionsville…Ballerinas and Bruisers.  Owner, Steve Schwartz, will engage you in lively conversation or simply offer some suggestions on top sellers.  He recently added a fantastic book selection and expanded to the second floor. Enjoy!

ulia and paul

Marriages — tiffany at 1:05 am on Sunday, February 8, 2009

We hadn’t met Ulia and Paul in person before the wedding.  However, we felt like we had gotten to know them well through our many calls and communications that began mid-summer. I think it may be the first couple that has told me they like playing Backgammon together!  Perhaps they will start a new trend.

Their wedding festivities began long before the wedding day as family started arriving from Italy a week prior.  The wedding day began and ended at Hotel Monaco in Chicago…a perfect venue for an intimate winter wedding.

We are so terribly sad to report Ulia and Paul’s wedding was one of the last ceremonies at Holy Name Cathedral, one of the largest Roman Catholic dioceses in the United States, before the enormous fire early this week.  It is like no other church…the architecture, the terrezzo floor, the pipe organ…

Check back in a few days for their wedding album design.  Enjoy!
