She is gorgeous. She is kind. She is bright, graduating early from high school. She was simply wonderful to work with for her Senior Shoot. We wish Monica the very best her in academic endeavors this Fall. Enjoy!

All I can say is I hope my husband and I take pictures like this after we have been married forty-plus years! Here is to the Hole Family being whole again even for just a weekend.

What is the saying…the shoemakers children are often shoeless?
Well…a professional photographer rarely has a chance to work on personal images. Nate and I took these images on our trip to Hawaii nearly a year ago. He just got around to editing them!
We were on top of the highest peak (10,000 feet above sea level) on Haleakala in Maui trying to make it appear as if we were floating through the air. Nate succeeded much better than I with his Aladdin-like pose. I look like a cross between a Van Halen wannabe and an outdated cheerleader.

We are so excited for all of our weddings this year. Samantha and David are getting married in just a few short weeks and we are pumped. They are hosting both their ceremony and reception on an estate that has been in Samantha’s family for 150 years. The home dates back to the Civil War complete with ornate woodwork, stained glass and a parlor! We think so highly of this couple. They are juggling a lot right now and keeping it all in stride. Cannot wait to see them walk down the aisle! Enjoy!
P.S. The met at the Casba Bar…hence the images in front!

It didn’t take long after our first encounter at the aquatics center at Ball State to figure out Becky was going to be a lifelong friend, and integral part of my life. Nate, for obvious reasons, had quite a crush on this here college roommate of my mine. No wonder he liked to come for visits.
Anyway, we captured these images while Becky was in Indy for a quick visit. She is deep, humorous, and undeniably beautiful as an expecting mother. We could not be more joyous as her first child enters into this world in just a few weeks. I know she will embrace motherhood with wonderment and a heart full of open love.

Where to start? First of all…we just love this couple, their family, and their friends. We had so much fun working with this group from start to finish. Risa is a ball of energy that is always smiling and laughing. In fact, to get her to take an image without an enormous grin was a challenge. She was simply too happy (and that is a good way to be). Tom, on the other hand, has a quiet charisma that is just his own. Besides that, he has soulful eyes. I loved the way that he gazed at his bride.
West Baden Springs, the location Risa and Tom selected for their wedding, is out of a picture book. It is described as the eighth Wonder of the World. The rich history of this spectacular location is very interesting. Luckily after days and days of rain, the weather was perfect.
The day began with Abby Lynn Prather doing makeup and Danie Patterson working hair for the bridesmaids. As the women were practicing their choreographed dance to ‘jaiho,’ the guys wrapped up a game of golf. We were joined by Brandon and Cybil of B&C Digital which we love working with from time to time.
Due to the high volume of rain the previous few days, the decision was made to bring the ceremony indoors. Melody Carr, along with her team from West Baden, perfected the setup. It was held in the lobby of the hotel…which is no typical lobby. I thought the ceremony was particularly special as the Jewish traditions were clearly described on the back of the programs making everyone feel a part of it.
The cake made by Blu Boy Chocolate was amazing…it was made to reflect the dome of West Baden upside down. The lights were dimmed low at the reception which brought on the party and dancing led by Endless Summer Band.
We wish Risa and Tom the very best. We look forward to seeing them again soon. Enjoy!

Mandy and Todd had one of the most memorable stories…their first and second dates were ten years apart! Clearly the second time around went much more smoothly. They both radiate happiness, and are very sociable. We liked them from the beginning. We are excited for the wedding Mandy and Todd are planning in October at The Columbia Club. Enjoy!

You have to be a real man to wear a hot pink racing suit with a matching Indy 500 car. But Alex Lloyd easily puts the hot in hot pink to represent her ENERGY drink and Sam Schmidt Motorsports. Nate, in particular, was stoked to get the opportunity to work with the her team after they decided only a few weeks ago to sponsor the car for the Indy 500. May is a great time to be in Indy. Best wishes and safe driving to Alex and the her team on a successful run at the 500!
P.S. Target exclusively sells her so give it a try…good stuff!
