samantha and david
One of the weddings we have most anticipated in 2009…set on a 700 acre farm that has been in Samantha’s family since the 1800s. The Victorian home has been relatively untouched so the nooks and crannies throughout were absolutely intriguing and set the backdrop for a beautiful day.
There were so many amazing aspects to this wedding…Samantha and David are absolutely gorgeous and tuned into each other on their own frequency. It was fun to observe. Their friends and family are agreeable, enjoyable and extremely close. By far the best Best Man speech and father-daughter dance EVER.
The farm…what can we say other than we love Indiana for just this reason. And then the ceremonies…the Katuba signing left us teary. They could hardly get through the reading of it.
The dual Christian-Jewish marriage was extremely personable. But will always remain in my memory is something the minister said. It rained the entire day. You might not be able to tell from the images below but we were forced to get very creative. It was pouring at times. Yet Samantha remained cool as can be. She believed it would clear up in time for the ceremony. And…she was right. The minister said that he believes heaven takes a break…a quiet moment…to observe all weddings. And, clearly on the day Samantha and David were married that was the case. The clouds parted, the sun shined, and the ceremony was perfect.
A special thanks for Mallory and April…couldn’t have done it without you two!
