This is the beautiful daughter of one of our first and favorite brides and grooms. We have loved watching her grow…

A lovely wedding at the White River Gardens at the Indianapolis Zoo. Annie and Colin were so talented in pulling together this wedding, along with the help of some dear friends. We think so highly of our Kentucky friends. Congratulations!
Check back in a few days for their wedding album design. Enjoy!

I truly do not mean to sound redundant but…we adore Emily and Brent, and it happened the first moment we met them. When they described the most important aspect of their wedding being the ceremony…we were hooked. Emily and Brent have seen their challenges at a young age and they could not be more real, dynamic, and emotionally-connected. We enjoyed every moment we were able to spend with them. I hope we are forever friends.
There is something so magical about the moment a bride puts on her gown. And no kidding…when Emily slipped that gown on with her bird cage veil…it was nothing short of spectacular. Our jaws dropped. She had not intended to find a gown with so much vavoom but when Tracy suggested it at Bliss Boutique…it was perfect. With her family by her side, they wept and wept.
We have been eager to photograph a wedding at Salem Methodist Church in Zionsville for years. It is one of those old country churches set among horse farms that is purely simple. It was a just as Emily and Brent hoped…beautiful and full of emotion. It was especially unique that each guest placed a river rock into a crystal vase as they were seated. The vase will adorn their home forever as a constant reminder of their marriage.
The reception took place at the Evan Lurie Gallery in the Arts District in Carmel. If you haven’t been…GO! What a gem, and significant contribution it has made to the area. It was hard to photograph when there was so much amazing art to gander at throughout the night. It really is a unique venue for an intimate wedding.
Of course when you throw in an awesome Indy vendor team assembled by Monica Richard of Detail & Design which included: Cindy Shobe (makeup artist), Gene Huddleson of Detail & Design (decor and florals), Sunny Moon (DJ), Classic Cakes, Hoaglin Catering, and Indy Photo Booth.
