odd angle
Since Nate was a young boy, he could maneuver his body into some strange positions. However, this one I caught is classic. He looks like a one-legged, headless photographer! Good thing he didn’t split his pants!

There is nothing about this wedding that was not spectacular starting with the couple. Hillary and Troy are one of those couples that we will keep in contact with for years. We just clicked, and we could not be happier to call them friends. They just match each other so well. Troy kept a detailed blog during their engagement, called “My name in on the invite too.” It often had us laughing but it certainly made it clear just how enamored he was with “H.”
With the talent of wedding planner, Monica Richard, they embarked upon creating an event that included a lot of “BAM” (the only description Hillary would use) months before. Her gown was nothing but “BAM”…hard to even describe with its one-shoulder-low-back-sleek-with-poof-and jewels. She absolutely rocked it, paired with an awesome attitude and a gorgeous pair of Manolo Blahniks.
The Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library provided the “BAM,” along with the cosmopolitan backdrop Hillary and Troy were searching for. The ceremony was one of our all-time favorites that included Tim Brickley singing Sweet Child o’ Mine and Wild Horses as Hillary sauntered emotionally down the aisle. It was breathtaking! One of the cutest impromptu moments was Hillary grabbing the leash of their beloved Jezebel as they walked back up the aisle once they were married.
The reception included decor by Gene Huddelson of Detail & Design that is award winning in our book. The best part about it was Hillary and Troy just gave him full-reign to create “BAM!” From the acrylic Chiavari chairs to the custom dance floor (made with more or less stickers), to the centerpieces and linens…it was perfect.
Oh! Another favorite moment of the night…watching Hillary sign the marriage license on the dance floor on Troy’s back. They forgot and didn’t want to stop the party!
And not to be forgotten…Indy Photo Booth capturing a collection or quirky images collected in a guest book. DJ Indiana Jones who maybe the wildest DJ we have ever encountered…he motivated the crowd to dance club-style! Antique Limo that always provides beautiful rides in their vintage cars. Makeup artist Kiralee Hubbard that brought all of the beauty in the bridesmaids.
Congratulations you two! Enjoy!

Great couple that we are thrilled to be photographing their wedding next May. We met Lee in 2006 when his twin brother was wed which, by the way, is another fantastic couple. It was very exciting when he called to tell us he had popped the question to Ame. They are perfect together. Congratulations…we cannot wait to see you walk down the aisle. Enjoy!

Not sure if a family can get much cuter than this…the coloring, the smiles, the giggles, and the goofy faces. These are certainly the days to remember…which reminds me…I need to photograph my children too! Enjoy!

Classic example of high school sweethearts getting married. They can finish sentences for one another. Lindsay is spunky and warm (she didn’t stop smiling the entire day), Ryan calm yet witty. We loved getting to know Lindsay and Ryan during their planning process.
The day began at Our Lady of Mount Carmel and then moved downtown to the Omni Severin. To honor their parents’ marriage, Lindsay wore her mother’s veil and Ryan wore the same cufflinks his father wore on his wedding day.
Kathy’s Kloset was responsible for the beautiful florals. And Casey Jamerson kept everyone out of their seats the entire night dancing. I think we are going to have just a few spreads of dancing images in the album. Check back in a few days for their wedding album design.
Congratulations Lindsay and Ryan! Enjoy!
