This family was so wonderful to work with…we could tell from the beginning that they were undeniably close and simply good people.  Elissa is stunning yet at the same time extremely approachable.  She let us know she was a crier, and she wasn’t kidding.  Her tears started as she walked down the aisle and continued through the ceremony. She was so happy.  It was one of the first times we have seen a slideshow during the ceremony which made everyone a bit weepy.

The Conrad Indianapolis provided an amazing backdrop for both the ceremony and reception.  We never grow tired of watching the synchronized service…it is so cool.  One of our favorite moments of the day was admiring the entertaining dance the wedding party, along with the bride and groom, carefully choreographed for the reception.

Congratulations to both Elissa and Bobby.

We enjoyed collaborating with the Merrill Lynch team as they held a financial meeting at the Indianapolis Museum of Art with guest speaker, Ron Insana.

Some couples are undeniably stunning…and this is one of them.  Special thanks to Chelsea and Nick for allowing our team to use their engagement session as a training day.  We really enjoyed getting to know them during our adventure.  We are looking forward to their August wedding at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.

Vanessa and Matt woke to a torrential downpour on their wedding day.  No big surprise for Indiana weather this Spring.  But amazingly, by the time they walked back up the aisle after their ceremony at Church of the Holy Cross, the clouds had parted and the sun was shining.  They had surrounded themselves by great friends and a myriad of personalities that day.  It provided for a fun day that kept us more than amused at times.

Considering Vanessa is a colleague we have worked alongside for several years as an event coordinator at both the Indianapolis Museum of Art and The Mavris, it was pure joy to see her finally be the bride.  Her smile is captivating is so captivating.  And, she may have been the most at ease bride we have ever photographed.  Nothing mattered that day but getting married.

The Mavris has never looked so cool.  Her vision came together perfectly with bright colors mixed in with paper lanterns and butterfly accents.  One of our favorite moments was watching Matt’s prior band rock it out after the Souled Out Band gave them some stage time.

Congratulations to a wonderful couple that we are proud to call friends.
