We were excited to collaborate with Control4 while they were in Indianapolis for the CEDIA Expo.  They have a fantastic team that we immediately connected with.  And…they certainly know how to create an incredible booth display.   The Control4 Dealer Awards and Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament was held at the Indiana State Museum  to recognize their dealers in categories such as lighting, audio, and security.

Monica and Wayne are a wonderful couple that had a perfect wedding day in Chicago.  Despite the major renovation that is currently taking place at the magnificent St. Michael’s Church, the ceremony was beautiful.  Following it, we hopped on a trolley for an adventure around Chicago that took us past the Water Tower and Washington Park.

Newberry Library (yes…where the book Time Traveler’s Wife is set) was the venue for Monica and Wayne’s reception.  We love photographing here because it is grand, while remaining intimate.  There is wonderful history around this building.  Their reception was full of warm and hilarious toasts.  You can always count on a lot of banter between Cubs and Sox fans!  And, we have never quite witnessed a dance floor as packed.

Congratulations…we were honored to be a part of Monica and Wayne’s wedding.

It wouldn’t have been a summer 2011 wedding without extreme heat.  But Chelsea and Nick kept it all in stride with their cool attitudes.  They are truly a stunning couple that had not only a gorgeous wedding but a fun one at that.  Surrounded by a large, strong extended family, in addition to a hilarious group of friends, they seemed blissful.

The ceremony was held at Holy Rosary Parish followed by the reception at  the Indiana Roof Ballroom.  The toasts may have been some of the most entertaining we have ever witnessed…not too rehearsed just simply off-the-cuff humor.  And then, add in Jayne Bond and the Martinis that kept not only the dance floor packed…but the stage…and Chelsea and Nick had an awesome wedding.

There are some people that enter your life and you never forget because they forever change it.  Becky’s father did all that and more.  Nate and I knew Becky when she was a young, bright-eyed, angel-blonde haired girl.  Her father was our coach, teacher, mentor and friend.  We were so incredibly honored when we got the call that they wanted us to photograph Becky and Andy’s wedding.

Becky and Andy are perfectly paired.  They play off each other’s strengths and blend in with one another’s family well.  But what does a die-hard Colts Fan living in Chicago get?  He gets teased and heckled a lot from his Bear-fanatic-fan friends!

Their intimate and lovely ceremony was held at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ with the reception following at The Hilton Hotel in Naperville. We were so glad to be a part of their day, and contribute somehow back to a wonderful family.

We have never before felt so invited into the folds of a family.  They were warm, gracious, and sincere to absolutely everyone involved in the wedding.  Courtney and Brian were high school sweethearts, and have such a cute story about how their relationship grew.

The wedding was absolutely perfect, along with the coordination by Leslie Jones Weddings and the superior service at The Conrad, led by Amanda Coffey.   Some of our favorite moments were:  watching how blissfully happy Courtney’s mother was as she watched her daughter transform into a beautiful bride, observing Courtney nervously wait outside St. Joan of Arc with her father’s best friend to walk down the aisle, seeing them let into their reception for the first glance, their well orchestrated first dance, perfectly touching toasts, and some downright awesome dance music.
