Komen for the Cure Tissue Bank. The bank, located at the IU Simon Cancer Center, is the only tissue bank of its kind working toward finding a cure for breast cancer.  It was an enormous celebration for a cause that is close to many.

Congratulations to St. Vincent Cancer Care and their supporters for raising important funds in the fight to cure cancer.

The store looked amazing.  The decor was amazing.  The food was amazing.  And the entertainment didn’t stop.  Congratulations to The Container Store for opening up with a BANG!

The afternoon included breakout sessions on Building a Culture of Excellence, The Keys to Success, and Sustainable Funding.  The evening concluded with a dinner with featured speaker, Congressman Andre Carson, and Julian Robertson, one of the funders of Purpose Built Communities.

Day One highlights included remarks and presentations from:  Greg Giornelli (President of Purpose Built Communities), Shirley Franklin (Former Atlanta Mayor and CEO of Purpose Built Communities), and Thomas Cousins (Chair Emeritus and Co-Founder of Purpose Built Communities).
