We were honored and inspired to photograph the three-day seminar for Purpose Built Communities.  The objective of the non-profit organization is to revitalize communities across the nation.  To that end, they are transforming struggling and poverty-stricken neighborhoods, such as Avondale Meadows in Indianapolis, into vibrant and sustainable communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Day One highlights included remarks and presentations from:  Greg Giornelli (President of Purpose Built Communities), Shirley Franklin (Former Atlanta Mayor and CEO of Purpose Built Communities), and Thomas Cousins (Chair Emeritus and Co-Founder of Purpose Built Communities).

VENUES | The Conrad Indianapolis and Artsgarden.

What better way to end the summer than with a grand party with your closest friends and family?  Especially when that party is held in a hangar containing some of the rarest planes as collector items.  It was a great night by all, and a tribute to Tom Wood’s life.

We were excited to collaborate with Control4 while they were in Indianapolis for the CEDIA Expo.  They have a fantastic team that we immediately connected with.  And…they certainly know how to create an incredible booth display.   The Control4 Dealer Awards and Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament was held at the Indiana State Museum  to recognize their dealers in categories such as lighting, audio, and security.

We enjoyed collaborating again with Merrill Lynch for a financial meeting, especially with it being held at the NCAA Hall of Champions.  It was a first for us shooting there after the renovation.

Of course, we would expect nothing but extraordinary from the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.  Their annual gala launched the National Geographic Treasures of the Earth exhibit.  The amazing and included:  a ‘blue’ carpet arrival, disguise huts, a photo booth, a warrior dig, pirate tattoos, and a treasure trek!
