The surprises kept coming throughout the evening for Bob, including heartfelt toasts, a wheeled-out cake with two bodacious women, and Bob’s favorite band, Here the Come the Mummies, that paraded in from the balcony of the Indiana Roof Ballroom. This band was unbelievably entertaining.
The night ended Playboy-style back at The Conrad for late night snacks. Perfect way to end a perfect night. Congratulations!
The first of many surprises began with Bob’s closest family and friends at The Conrad. Bob figured it was a nice, intimate celebration until ‘Ralph’ walked in with a live television crew to escort him to The Indiana Roof Ballroom where nearly 400 were watching the live feed with excitement.
Without providing all of the details of the evening…there were surprise visits from Bob’s three siblings, a high school friend from Australia, previous colleagues, Marty Brennaman,, Fuzzy Zoeller, and video messages from Peyton Manning, Jeff Saturday, and Ralph Harris. The show included commercial breaks, a live Cleavage Cam, and cigarette girls. The best part of the evening was observing Bob’s genuine reaction to each surprise.

Bob Kevoian’s 60th Birthday Surprise Party was seamlessly choreographed. The theme was a throw-back to the famous 1950s Ralph Edwards program, This is Your Life. In the show, Ralph Edwards would surprise his guests and then proceed to take them through their life in front of an audience including friends and family. Bob’s best friend, acted the part of Ralph, creating the perfect centerpiece for the celebration.
It was amazing to watch a seasoned group of entertainers in action. A team of nearly twenty, led by Casey Scott of Etcetera Events, began planning what included a live television production and multiple parties in a series of locations in one night. The best part of it all…Bob was truly surprised again and again throughout the night.
