mcgrath family

Abby contacted us over a year ago in hopes of getting pictures of her one-year old daughter, Ella.  Low and behold we had to reschedule the photo session when she learned she was again expecting.  So…skip a year ahead and we are photographing now a family of four!  Abby is close friends with one of our first brides YEARS ago.  We were thrilled to capture this time in their lives.  Enjoy!

kacie’s farm

Nate and I are not originally from Indiana,  Truth be told, we are kind of city kids, however we have grown to love Indiana’s landscape considerably.  In fact, we really have a ‘thing’ for old barns and vast fields of crops.  We were pleased to have the opportunity to shoot a pregnancy shoot on a local farm which included all the cool stuff…a silo, tractor, corn, etc.  They provided great backdrops for a very personal session for Kacie and their soon to be baby!

You just cannot get any cuter than this little guy, Rhys. With those blue eyes and blond hair…he is a future heartthrob. His parents, Laura and Ryan, won their portrait sitting at the Annual Children’s Museum Golf Outing with Accenture. Enjoy!

We photographed Nikki and Pat this past winter during Nikki’s pregnancy and…several months later…they are a family of three! Ben has beautiful blue eyes and is a perfect cross between his beautiful mom and handsome dad. Enjoy!

peigh family

Generations — tiffany at 11:33 pm on Thursday, June 12, 2008

Some are faced with harrowing thoughts of mortality young in their lifetimes. Our dear friend, Joel, was recently given devastating news of esophageal cancer. He is a young man, with an incredible entrepreneurial spirit. He is the father of three lovable children, and the husband to a ROCK of a woman.

Joel, along with his wife, April, are facing this diagnosis with enormous courage and grace. They will soon launch a blog called www.peighitforward.com (as in Peigh It Forward) so that their friends and family can travel along this journey with them…providing encouragement and strength during the times they need it the most.

We ask that you keep Joel in your prayers as he fights the fight of his life.

four kids

Generations — nate at 3:29 pm on Thursday, May 22, 2008

Another secret Father’s Day surprise (sshhhh).  Kate, the mother of these four adorable children, just wanted her kids captured as they were playing at the park.   Nate had probably as much fun as they did.  Enjoy!

Don’t you just love little summer dresses?  And how about these big blues and barefeet?  I have a feeling Claire’s dad is going to be excited when he sees his surprise Father’s Day present.  Shhhh…

welcome home

Generations — tiffany at 12:43 am on Tuesday, May 13, 2008

Both families in this post endured a significant hardship of being separated from each other for the past year.  Last April, Tim and Jerome deployed to Iraq. As Blackhawk pilots, their mission was to provide medical evacuation (Medevac) capabilities to wounded soldiers, contractors, and even our enemies on the battlefield.  The unit collectively flew 1,000 missions during their deployment. They were extremely successful by returning home with every soldier that was deployed.  Amazing!

The joy of seeing children with their fathers again after such a long absence cannot be adequately described.  The strength of the women left behind is impossible to understand.  And the courage, stamina, and quick-thinking abilities that these men must have is something to truly be proud of.

On Armed Forces Day (this Saturday), we would like to welcome home every soldier from the 2/238  C Company Medevac unit.  Congratulations on a successful mission!
