We are looking forward to spending another few days with the extended family of Tish and Cody in Key West. This group sure knows how to have fun. The wedding will be held at the Casa Marina Resort in June.

We joined the Fun Girls as they wrapped up the last of their recording at the Static Shack. Their new album, Cutie Patootie, is set to release this summer. The Fun Girls have been a regular trio on the Bob & Tom Show for years. The album cover shoot is set to take place in two weeks…cannot wait.

It was unanimously decided that Cooper was the First Annual Easter Hat Winner. Cooper and his family will be awarded a one hour photo shoot, including a 16×20 wrapped canvas.

2012 PACE AWARDS

A SPECTACULAR evening last night at the ISES Indiana PACE Awards at D’Amore. We were grateful to have been awarded Best Corporate Photography for our work with Purpose Built Communities and Best Team Effort with a Budget of $75-200K for the Opening Gala of the Container Store. Enormous congratulations to all of the other award recipients and nominees for continuing to make Indianapolis such a great city for event professionals.

Marie wanted a fairy tale wedding, and at the end of the night that is exactly how she felt. It was a perfect early Spring day. No one ever expected it to be as warm and as beautiful as it was in March in Indiana. What added to the magic of their day was being married in the same church as Marie’s parents. We have only witnessed that twice in the decade we have photographed weddings. There is something so special about that no one can deny.

The reception was amazing…especially with a first dance to Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls. We are so very happy for Marie and Matt…CONGRATULATIONS!

We’re not sure there was anything better to Jennifer and Brent’s friends and family other than their Destination Wedding at the end of February in Key West. Everyone was ready for a spectacular winter getaway at The Ocean Key Resort. It was especially exciting for us as we had photographed Jennifer’s sister’s wedding just two years ago. It was so much fun to be in the presence of this group again. As expected it was laid back and full of joy. Congratulations Jennifer and Brent!

In conjunction with the Zionsville Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt, we held our FIRST annual Easter Hat Extravaganza Contest.

Judging will be held this week by special guest judges and Zionsville business partners: Steve Schwartz of Ballerinas & Bruisers, Jayne Nolting of Plum’s Upper Room, and Courtney Gorman of Sweet Lucinda’s. We are hopeful this will become an annual celebration to look forward to.

After three months of renovations, The Conrad Indianapolis, is reopening their posh suite to guests with a $350,000 facelift – $250,000 of that being in original works of fine art. The Gallery Suite is now adorned with modern and contemporary furnishings, ebony wood flooring, chrome light fixtures and a full media room and library. Modern Masters Fine Art has also designated their fine art collection for this select space. Pieces by the likes of Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso and Alexander Calder now grace the walls. In addition to these pieces, Indianapolis’ own screen printer and painter Walter Knabe, a favorite of public figures such as Madonna, Michael Jordan and Spike Lee, has designed and installed a custom-made wall covering in the master bathroom. We were thrilled to photograph the suite and get a first look.
