Lindsey and Erik are a super couple. We especially liked getting to know Erik so well…he is one of those hands-on grooms that likes to be in on the details.

The day was packed. They began getting ready at the Conrad with one of our favorite gals…Michelle Hage doing makeup. Then they proceeded in limos to Columbus, Indiana for the ceremony at St. Bartholomew. After the ceremony, the wedding party and family made a quick trip to the beautiful Irwin Gardens for photographs before heading back up to Indianapolis.

The Indiana Roof Ballroom was the site for the reception which was beautifully decorated by Chris and Kyle from Bloomz and wedding planner, Katina Kaisher of Eclectic Events and Design.

We hope Lindsey and Erik had a fabulous honeymoon in St. Maarten and we look forward to fun anniversary sessions with them in Chicago.

Janet is my son’s bus driver but more importantly one of the kindest women we know.  She has grown deep in the hearts of all the mothers in our neighborhood because she loves and protects our children. They equally love and tease with her back.

We were heartbroken when we heard that Judi, one of Janet’s daughters, is losing her fight with cancer.  She is now under Hospice care.  And while she is coming to the end of her life, Janet, Judi and Jackie are enjoying each moment together.

This is the second set of pregnant sisters we have photographed!  It is so much fun, especially with two gals we like so much.  What is particularly interesting…is not only are they sisters but they are sisters-in-law.  Yes…they married brothers!

We shot Amy’s first pregnancy  just over a year ago…so you can bet they are going to be busy.  And, we shot Brittany and Ryan’s gorgeous wedding in June 2006…so they are about to enter into an entirely new way of life.

We just love this family and appreciate staying in tune with their lives.  Congratulations to both of you and your families!

We all know there is a saying, “Always a bridesmaid, never a bride.” But what about, “Always a wedding planner, now finally a bride.”

Rebecca Raymond of Event Fantastic will walk down the aisle herself next September to marry Torrey, a fantastic guy!  We really enjoyed spending time with them in Hawaii (especially on the Road to Hana) while we were working on Jill and Kevin’s event extraordinaire.  Rebecca and Torrey are a perfectly suited match…they are both adventuresome, fun and kind-hearted.

Maui was the perfect location for Torrey to propose.  We are thrilled for them.  Congratulations!

Tammy and Josh are super busy.  Maybe that is why they are self-proclaimed Starbuck’s addicts!  On top of planning an awesome wedding, Tammy just graduated from medical school and Josh will begin his MBA in the Fall.  Despite these two having very different backgrounds you can tell that they have similar values, and even personalities.  Josh is very witty.  And…we couldn’t appreciate more an organized bride!

Their wedding day began at at the amazing St. John downtown (you cannot beat the enormous length of the aisle or sound of the pipe organ) followed by a great reception at the Skyline Club.  We were excited to photograph our first reception at the Skyline Club (got to love the view).  It was especially fun to do so with one of our favorite bands in town…The Impalas.  There were some killer moves on the dance floor!

Anissa and Brian…such a cool couple. We were very excited to shoot our first wedding in Dayton, Ohio…especially considering they had selected such a unique venue at the Schuster Center for both their ceremony and reception. Nate had a great time with the wedding party shooting around the market district. And, everyone made the day super fun.

We wish Anissa and Brian great success in their future triathlons and soccer games       . Congratulations!

These two couldn’t imagine meeting their future spouse in an art elective theater class at Purdue…but it happened! Skip forward several years…after a full mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary, the celebration of their marriage continued at Sheraton City Centre.

Liz and John are sincere and we couldn’t have enjoyed working with them more. They just look like they fit. While Liz is relaxed and independent, John is motivated and entertaining. We wish them a safe return from their honeymoon through Europe…England, France, and Italy.

Jill and Kevin decided to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on a grand scale yet with an intimate group of friends and family. Their destination…Maui, Hawaii. Their setting…the Grand Wailea Resort. Their collective group…thirty-four. Their celebration…a deep, respectful love.

We were thrilled to finally meet Jill and Kevin, and certainly be witnesses to a truly joyous occasion. Their week was perfectly coordinated by wedding planner, Rebecca Raymond of Event Fantastic. In between a lot of relaxation, there was an event planned for the guests each day, whether it was a snorkeling excursion to Molokini, a traditional Luau, a shopping excursion to Lahaina, or a lunch at the famous Mama’s Fish House. The grand finale was the vow renewal and reception which was absolutely breathtaking.

One of the most unique aspects to this event was the branding that was artistically created by Rebecca and the uber-talented Kate Berglund of KB Design. They were able to tie each event together in a magical way with very invitation, menu, place card, bag tag, water bottle, fan, etc.
